William James

Lt Col (retired) William “Bill” Canter James born February 24th, 1946 to the late Eugene and Buelah James in Ste. Genevieve, MO. He died on September 24th, 2025 while residing in Green Valley, AZ.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Berniece James; his son Kevin James and wife Jaime and their children Gwyneth, Noah, Jacob and Joshua; his son Jeremy James and wife Daina and their son Dean. He was brother to Joe (late), Ed, Gary (late), Jerry, Brenda, Sandra, Cheryl (late), Mary and Terri.

He was always full of energy with a love for sports, he was the life of every party, generous and kind, a man of definite opinion, loved to organize things and people, always found a project to work on, beloved by family and friends. He was a rolling stone that never gathered moss. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He loved God, believed in Jesus, and we look forward to meeting him again in the next life.
