Amos Joseph Wolk Jr.

Amos Joseph Wolk Jr., age 74, died on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025 at Southbrook Nursing Home in Farmington, MO surrounded by family and friends.  He was born April 27, 1951, the oldest son of Amos and Margaret (Boyer) Wolk.

He is survived by three children:  Matthew (MaryBeth) Wolk, Aaron (Kassie) Wolk both of Ste. Genevieve, and Kellie Wolk of Farmington.   He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Breanna, Ashlyn, Chloe, Logan and Jaxon.  Seven siblings also survive, Timothy (Dorothy) Wolk, Thomas Wolk, Donald Wolk, Darlene Linson, Bernadine (Thomas) Koller, Margorie Hermann and Edward “Stanley” (Betty) Wolk, all of Ste Genevieve.

Amos was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Gloria “Sue” Wolk:  his parents, and an infant brother, Daniel Wolk.

Amos enjoyed fishing and hunting and playing with his dog, Cheyanne.  He was a member of the First Step Church of God.

Amos willed his remains to science.  There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
