COLUMBIA, Mo. — Valle Catholic senior Wil Kuehn was the lone member to earn a state medal, finishing in 6th place in the 157-pound division at the two-day MSHSAA Class 1 boys’ wrestling championships Thursday (Feb. 27) at the Mizzou Arena at the University of Missouri.
The Warriors of Ste. Genevieve (Mo.) had sent seven total wrestlers to the Missouri state tournament, but only Kuehn made it through to Day 2 after a good performance on Day 1.
The standout kicker earned all-state in football and now wrestling this school year.
