COLLEGE BASEBALL NLI SIGNING
Ste. Genevieve senior three-sport athlete Aiden Meyer (sitting center) recently signed a national letter of intent to continue his academic and baseball career at Mississippi Valley State University, also known as “V State,” an NCAA Division I and HBCU (Historically Black College and University) school in Itta Bena, MS. Meyer, who started several positions for the Dragons the past few seasons also played summer baseball for the adidas Athletics out of St. Louis and traveled with
the team around the country. The Dragons finished 7-17 overall and 1-4 in the MAAA last season. The Diamond Devils finished 15-36 overall and 7-22 in the Southwest Athletic Conference (SWAC) last season against members such as Florida A&M, Grambling State, Southern Louisiana, Jackson (Miss.) State and Alabama State. Pictured from left with Meyer is his family : parents Mandy and Lance Meyer, and standing in back from left are siblings Ava Meyer, Parker Meyer and Drake Meyer. Gen HS grad), as well as numerous friends, classmates and teammates of Meyer.
