Clinton Baechle

Clinton Baechle, 91 years old, of Sainte Genevieve, MO, died Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Parkwood Meadows Assisted Living in Sainte Genevieve, MO.

He was born July 24, 1932 in Ste. Genevieve, MO and was married to Delores (Fuller) Baechle on September 18, 1954.

He is survived by Wife, Delores Baechle of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Three Daughters, Joyce E. (Gary) Abbott of Rolla, MO, Janet (Gordon Zoesch) Coleman of Shawnee Mission, KS, Sandy (Lance) Reed of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Son, Mike (Amy) Baechle of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Brother, Robert Baechle of Bloomsdale, MO; Four Sisters, Reva (August) Grein of Sainte Genevieve, MO, Mary Ann (Gerald) Wilson of Sainte Genevieve, MO, Norma (Jim) Martine of Little Rock, AR, Linda Rector (Special Friend Bruce Bova) of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Grandchildren, Eric Abbott, Ashlee (Patrick) Gray; Jeremy Zoesch; Molly Baechle (Special Friend Mark Heiser), Matthew Baechle; Tyler (Kelsey) Reed, Haley Reed (Special Friend Matt Halderman); Great Grandchildren, Evelyn, Vivian, Etta, Owen, Ainsley, Adley, Josie, Landon.

He was preceded in death by Father, William Baechle; Mother, Elvina (Hoog) Baechle; Three Sisters, Helen Jokerst, Leanna A. Naeger, Doris R. Bauman; Two Brothers, Alvin J. Baechle, Raymond “Pete”  Baechle.

Visitation will be at First Baptist Church in Sainte Genevieve, MO on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 9:00 am till 11:30 am.

Service will be at First Baptist Church on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 11:30 am. With full military honors.

The Clergy will be Rev. Roger Faulkner.

Memorials can be made to Legacy Hospice or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

He was a member of Am. Legion 150 and First Baptist Church.  Clinton served in the US Army where he met Delores and they were married for almost 70 years.  He loved fishing, playing cards, gardening and watching the Cardinals and Chiefs.  There was nothing Clinton couldn’t fix, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family and he will be missed by all who knew him.
