Loretta  Jenkins

Loretta  Jenkins, 94 years old, of Sainte Genevieve, MO, died Monday, October 30, 2023 at The Arbors Parkwood Meadows in Sainte Genevieve, MO.

She was born February 27, 1929 in Ste. Genevieve, MO and was married to Arvel Jenkins on April 4, 1948.

She is survived by Two Daughters, Tammie (Keith) Whelan of Saint Mary, MO, Yvonne (Thomas) Clifton of Perryville, MO; Grandchildren, Jennifer (Greg) Inman and their children, Peyton and Elliot Inman, Travis (Renee Eagle) Zahner, and JoBeth (Nathan) Ellett and their children, Taylor, Blake, and Chase Ellett.

She was preceded in death by Daughter, Brenda Jenkins; Husband, Arvel Jenkins; Father, George Edgar LaRose; Mother, Genevieve LaRose; Two Sisters, Enid “Net” (Armel) Jenkins, Mary “Cassie” Catherine LaRose; Two Brothers, Norman “Sparrow” (Della) LaRose, Carmean “Bud” (Bernadine) LaRose.

Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, MO on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 9:00 am till 1:00 pm.

Service will be at Basler Funeral Home on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 1:00 pma

Loretta “Fat” loved her dogs, especially her poodle, Mitzi. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and reading her Bible. Before she got sick, Loretta liked to go camping and fishing. She will always be remembered for taking care of people and being there for them.
