He was preceded in death by Three Brothers, James Kertz, Patrick Kertz, Paul Kertz; Sister, Anna Mae Elze; Father, George Kertz; Mother, Johanna (Huck) Kertz.

Visitation was at St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale, MO on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 9:00 am till 10:00 am.

Service was at St. Agnes Church on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 10:00 am. The Clergy was Rev. Ryan Weber.

Burial was at St. Agnes Cemetery in Bloomsdale, MO.

He was a member of Valle Athletic Club, K of C Bloomsdale 1848, Am. Legion in Festus, Graduated from SEMO in 1966.
