Virginia Frances (Carron) Packard
Virginia Frances (Carron) Packard died Monday, September 25, 2023 at Avow Hospice in Naples, Florida.
She was born on January 5, 1944 in Bloomsdale, Missouri, the ninth of ten children of Edwin Peter Carron and Pauline Rose (Jerca) Carron.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Paul, Hugh, and Dick, sisters Mildred Kraenzle and Mary Ann Reed.
Ginny is survived by her husband Tom of Naples, Florida, son Michael Pierce of Farmington, Michigan, daughter, Lisa Pierce and husband Lewis Swartley of Chesapeake, Virginia. Her grandchildren Megan Pierce of Madison, Wisconsin, Jonathon Pierce of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Nicholas, Christopher, and Ashley Daves of Chesapeake, Virginia.
Surviving brothers are Ron (Marilyn) of Aledo, Texas and Dennis (Betty Jane) of Bloomsdale, Missouri. Her surviving sisters are Rita (John) Bergtholdt of Sainte Genevieve, Missouri and Betty (Tony) Ritter of St. Mary, Missouri.
Ginny enjoyed cooking, traveling, playing cards, mahjong and spending time with family and friends.
Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Missouri on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am.
Service will be at St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale, Missouri on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 11:00 am. The clergy will be Rev. Ryan Weber.
Burial for Ginny will be at St. Agnes Cemetery in Bloomsdale, Missouri following the Mass.
Memorials can be made to the Cure JM (Juvenile Myositis) Foundation.
