Alberta “Bert” Magdalena Wilson, 85 years old, of Kaskaskia Island, IL, died Monday, September 18, 2023 at Maplebrook Assisted Living in Farmington, MO.

She was born August 22, 1938 in Perryville, MO.

She is survived by Sons, Bradley (Angela) Lankford of Chester, IL, Steven “Steve” (Sarah) Lankford of Bonne Terre, MO; Stepson, Tom (Chris) Wilson; Daughter-in-law, Darla Lankford; Grandchildren, Chad Lankford, Sarah Payne, Becky Bates, Johnathon Lankford, Chris Lankford, Jessie Lankford, Lisa Lankford, Shelby Marler, and Morgan Langston; and eleven Great-Grandchildren; Nieces Kathy Lankford and Joann Cox; Nephews, Craig Doza and John Burch; Sisters-in-law, Margaret Wilson and Mary Littrell.

Se was preceded in death by Father, Perl “PJ” Lawrence; Mother, Edith Lawrence; Husband, George Wilson; Son, Bruce Lankford; Sister, Dorothy  Burch; Special nephew, Ronald Doza; Sister-in-law, Martha Lou Doza.

Memorial Mass will be at Immaculate Conception Church on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 10:00 am in Kaskaskia, IL.

The clergy will be Rev. Steve Poole.

Graveside services are private.

Memorials can be made to Serenity Hospice.

Alberta loved playing cards especially Skip-Bo. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and will be dearly missed.
