Rita Lynn Wofford 60 years old of Clearwater, Florida died Sunday, August 20, 2023 at her home.

She was born January 13, 1963 in Festus, MO.

She is survived by Mother, Bernadine “Bernie” Sansoucie of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Two Sons, Stephen Sampson of Tomball, TX and Jason (Ashley) Sampson of Magnolia, TX; Daughter, Shannon (James) Nicholson of Bismark, MO; Brother, Kevin Sansoucie of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Grandchildren, Hayden, Alyssa, Tessa, and Aubrey; Nieces and Nephews, Michael, Jamie, Alex, and Morgan; Her dog, Eli.

She was preceded in death by Father, Donald  Sansoucie; Two Brothers, Bryan “Joe” Sansoucie, Wayne Sansoucie.

Visitation was at Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, MO on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm and resume on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 9:00 am till 9:30 am.

Service was at Our Lady Help of Christians on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 10:00 am.

The burial followed at Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery in Weingarten, MO

Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society.

Rita was very involved with her friends in her community and enjoyed sewing and crafts. She will be dearly missed.
