Gary Ritter, 62 years old, of Saint Mary, MO, died Thursday, September 7, 2023 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.

He was born November 2, 1960 in Perryville, MO.

He was survived by Two Daughters, Tracey (Roy Jr.) Hagan of Saint Mary, MO, Brandy (Jake) Balsman of Perryville, MO; Son, Jacob (Kadasha) Ritter of Saint Mary, MO; Brother, Thomas Ritter of Saint Mary, MO; Grandchildren, Riley Hagan, Trenton Balsman, Tanner Hagan, Brock Balsman, MaKynlie Ritter, Mason Balsman and Drake Ritter.

He preceded in death by Father, Kenneth E. Ritter; Mother, Imogene L. (Loness) Ritter; Brother, Kenneth Ritter, Jr.

Visitation was at Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, MO on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. and Monday September 11, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. till 1:00 pm.

Service was at Basler Funeral Home on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 1:00 pm.

The Clergy was Rev. Don Estes.

Burial was at St. Mary Cemetery in St. Mary, MO.

Gary was a hard worker and dedicated bricklayer with Local 1 in St. Louis.  He enjoyed hunting, especially duck hunting.  After retirement, Gary spent his last years of his life working on the family farm and enjoyed an occasional Harley ride.
