Shelby McMahill, 75 years old, of Sainte Genevieve, MO, died Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Ste. Genevieve Care Center in Sainte Genevieve, MO.

She was born December 6, 1947 in Ste. Genevieve, MO and was married to John McMahill Sr. on May 18, 1968.

She is survived by Husband, John McMahill, Sr. of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Son, John (Sarah) McMahill Jr. of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Daughter, Laurie A (Robert) Pinkley Sr. of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Brother, Armel “Tim” (Pamela) Jenkins of Perryville, MO; Grandchildren, Janel Moore, Kali Strange, Drew Jenkinson, Nathaniel Pinkley, Robert Pinkley Jr., Braden McMahill, Marissa McMahill, Kristopher McNelis, Joseph McNelis, Derek Morganthaler, Blake Morganthaler; Great Grandchildren, Naomi Jenkinson, Rhett Jenkinson, Royce Kehoe, Ellie Pinkley, Talon Pinkley, Ryan Pinkley.

She was preceded in death by Father, Armel Jenkins; Mother, Enid Mary (Larose) Jenkins; Brother, Floyd “Pete” Jenkins.

Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, MO on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 9:00 am till 11:00 am.

Service will be at Basler Funeral Home on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 11:00 am.

Shelby was a hard working loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend to all who knew her.  Shelby retired from Casey’s in Ste. Genevieve and was well known as the doughnut lady there.  Shelby loved spending time with her family.  Family was everything to her and she will be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her husband, children and grandchildren.  Shelby will be missed immensely by all who knew her.
