Good crowds took advantage of milder than usual weather for the 65th Jour de Fete festival over the weekend.
With temperatures barely hitting 90 degrees and cloud cover most of the weekend, visitors enjoyed shopping, visiting and listening to live music, in addition to eating and drinking.
Meanwhile, the French LeClere and German Wehner families were honored by Project Pioneer, during the opening ceremonies on Saturday.
Look for the Jour de Fete photo album on this website. Additionally, a recap of the festival will appear in the Aug. 23 Herald.
