The annual Honey Festival and Market features lots of interesting booths with wares to sample and buy. Demonstrations in beekeeping and other related activities, such as this one during the 2022 festival, are also being offered.
Harold’s Famous Bee Co. is thrilled to announce the Third Annual Honey Festival and Market, a sweet celebration of all things honey bee, food, music, and fun.
The festival will be this Saturday, June 24, in downtown Ste. Genevieve.
The Third Annual Honey Festival and Market, hosted by Harold’s Famous Bee Co., promises an exceptional experience for festival goers. Attendees will be treated to beekeeping education, a honey harvesting demonstration, honey and mead tastings, a vibrant shopping experience, lively toe-tapping busking from members of The Mineral Area Fine Arts Academy, and local musicians, and a wide range of entertainment for the whole family.
Engage with seasoned beekeepers as they share insights on topics such as beekeeping and gardening. And when it’s time to take a break, satisfy your shopping cravings with blocks of farmers-market-style vendors. To add an extra touch of fun, we’re hosting a costume contest and hive art contest. Let your creativity soar as you dress up as your favorite bee or flower, or vote for your favorite painted hive – prizes await the most imaginative entries.
“We are beyond excited to present our 3rd Annual Honey Festival and Market,” said Amanda Hutchings, Co-Owner of Harold’s Famous Bee Co., and Organizer of the annual event. “This year’s event promises to be the best yet, offering a perfect blend of education, entertainment, and family fun. We can’t wait to welcome everyone and create a memorable experience together.”
The event is free of charge and open to all honey bee enthusiasts, nature lovers, and families seeking a day filled with old fashioned-fun. Don’t miss out on this occasion to celebrate the wonders of beekeeping and the delectable world of honey.
