Zachery Ryan Kaba, 22 years old, of Sainte Genevieve, MO, died Monday, May 22, 2023 at his home in Arlington, VA.

He was born March 3, 2001 in Ste Genevieve, MO.

He is survived by Mother, Melissa Kaba of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Father, Christopher Scott Rhymer of Bloomsdale, MO; Two Brothers, Michael Lee Gibson, Jr. of Salem, MO, Gavin Dale Pierce of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Sister, Shelbea Rae (Damien Williams) Rhymer of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Nephew, Christian Blake Williams; Nieces, Gabriella Rae Gibson and Zoe Kay-Brooke Williams; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by Sister, Zoe B. Rhymer; Grandparents, Dale (Shirley Ann) L. Pierce, Cecil “Dillon” Rhymer, Barbara Sue Mendenhall.

Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, MO on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 12:00 pm till 2:00 pm.

Service will be at Basler Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 2:00 pm followed by military honors.

Memorials can be made to Wounded Warriors or Disabled American Veterans.

Zachery “Zach” aka “Baka” loved his family, sports, anime, video games and cars. He played basketball and baseball as a child and enjoyed being a member of the Boy Scouts. He could make everyone laugh and was a joy to be around. Zach was an over achiever and was able to graduate a year early. His family was so proud of him. He absolutely loved being an uncle and hanging out with his family, fellow Soldiers, and friends.
