The EMMA Ste. Genevieve head Start held a Science Fair April 20. A large crowd of family member turned out to see the entries. Korey Byers, a science professor at Mineral Area College, acted as judge. There was a first-place tie between “Gardening,” by Ms. Mary’s group and “My Body, My Bones,” by Ms. Kate’s group. Byers could not decide between the two. He said that both groups showed excitement and knowledge of their projects.
