Perry Co. Bus Driver Killed

James Kennedy, a 72-year-old school bus driver for Perry County School District 32, was killed when his bus collided with a box truck and struck a culvert on Highway K, south of Perryville at 6:02 a.m., Tuesday morning.

No students were on the bus at the time.

According to the Highway Patrol, he was not wearing his safety harness.
