Anthony “Tony” Schilli 

Anthony “Tony” Schilli, 89 years old, of Sainte Genevieve, MO, died Monday, August 15, 2022 at Ste. Genevieve Care Center in Ste. Genevieve, MO.

He was born August 11, 1933 in Weingarten, MO and was married to Stella (Roth) Schilli on June 22, 1957.

He is survived by Wife, Stella Schilli of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Son, Ron (Kim) Schilli of Saint Louis, MO; Three Daughters, Debra (Jeff) Trautman of Sainte Genevieve, MO, Donna (Donnie) Rhodes of Bloomsdale, MO, Kay (Kevin) Schmid of St. Petersburg, FL; Grandchildren, David (Lindy) Lashbrook, Liz Schilli & Anthony (Kara) Schilli;  Alex (Alyssa), Jared & Jacob Trautman; Lindsay (Dustin) Moll, Michael (Nicole), Laura & Zachary Rhodes; Nathan & Phoenix Schmid; 12 Great Grandchildren and one on the way.   

He was preceded in death by Father, Edwin Schilli; Mother, Veronica (Gegg) Schilli; Two Brothers, Francis Schilli, Edwin Schilli; Sister, Marcella Hermann.

Visitation will be at Our Lady Help of Christians in Weingarten, MO on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Our Lady Help of Christians.  Military services performed by VFW Post 2210.

He was a member of Am. Legion post 150 & Our Lady Help of Christians Parish.  Tony was very proud of the farm in Weingarten. He and Stella lived together on the farm for 60 years of their marriage. They enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren throughout their lives.  Tony began playing music when he was 12 years old. Playing the guitar was his passion.  Tony and Stella’s faith was a big part of their lives and he will be missed by all who knew him.
