Special Road Holds Meeting

During the July 12 special Road District A meeting, Road Foreman Aaron De Rousse said the road crew is continuing with the mowing and spraying weeds, keeping up with equipment repairs and would be taking the 2008 tandem dump truck to TAG Truck Center in Farmington for repairs. He also reported that the overlays have been completed by Vern Bauman Contracting.

Chairman Paul Arnold reported that the speed bump that was put in place by a resident on Boverie Drive will be removed by the resident. The resident asked what other options does he have to control the speed of some of the vehicles on the road. Arnold advised him to contact law-enforcement.

Arnold also reported that he was contacted by some farmers that farm on Cottonwoods Road, requesting that a 90-foot long pipe be installed under the road to improve drainage. Basically the property owners are wanting to have the water drain from one field to the other.

The board agreed upon installing a 40-foot pipe and then if the property owners want to add on to the existing pipe an additional 50 feet at their expense, the board would be okay with that. Arnold said he will relay the information to both property owners.
