Almost Famous Up Next, Followed By Silver Bullet

The Big Rigs perform at the Orris last Friday night.
Almost Famous is the next band to hit the stage in the 2022 Ste. Genevieve Chamber of Commerce Summer Music Series.
The group, who take the stage Friday night at 8 p.m., formed in 2015 as a five-piece cover band.
Its website lists classic rock, country, acoustic and more.
“Whether you are the wild dance floor star or on the sidelines bobbing your head drinking your favorite spirit, no one in the room will be sitting still,” the website proclaims. “A show with Almost Famous provides a massive tribute to the greats with hits galore that are bound to get you up on your feet singing and dancing.”
Almost Famous does top hits by such notables as The Beatles, Journey, Queen, Toto, Michael Jackson, Billy Joel, Earth Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder, Phil Collins and more.
The series wraps up July 29, with Silver Bullet STL, the popular Bob Seger tribute band. It is sold out.
The Herald continues to give away two free pairs of tickets each week.
