2nd Annual Honey Fest
The Second Annual Honey Festival and Market was held downtown last Saturday, with a good crowd turning out. The day included demonstrations on hive combining, live music by Route 67 and Max T. Barnes, plus many vendors with honey and other items.
Hives for Heroes, a non-profit military organization headquartered in Texas, was a special guest. Hives for Heroes focuses on honey bee conservation and a healthy transition from service.
Ste. Genevieve Trolley provided transportation from Eric Scott Leathers where free parking was available. Harold’s Famous Bee Company sponsored the event.
