A ribbon-cutting was held for Rural Mission, at 316B Market Street on May 4. Located in the old Monia’s building (which also houses the Herald), the shop is owned by Jayne and Dustin Martin. The Martins said the shop will support local teachers, firefighters and others who work to benefit the community. A “community-based” business, it features unique gifts for all members of the family.
