Gerald L. Glaus

Gerald L. Glaus, 82, of Jacksonville passed away Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, in Jacksonville, IL. He was born, April 27, 1939, in St. Louis, the son of Gilbert and Lena Yount Glaus. He married, Mary L. Moser, Jan. 17, 1998, at Christ the King Church in Springfield, IL. 

Surviving is wife, Mary of Jacksonville, IL and numerous members of the Moser, Huber and Bader families.

Gerry was employed at Home Depot in Jacksonville, IL after retiring from Passavant Hospital engineering dept in Jacksonville, IL. He was a member of Our Savior Catholic Church in Jacksonville, IL, Knights of Columbus in New Berlin, IL, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus in Springfield, IL, Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem and Bench Rest Rifle Club in St. Louis. Gerry was a Kansas City Chiefs fan, avid reader, and a past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus in New Berlin, IL. He enjoyed walking and drag racing. 

A visitation was held Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, at Ste. Genevieve Church with a funeral mass to follow at the church.
