Jan. 15 Concert To Benefit St. Mary Tornado Victims

From Staff Reports

EXP Productions rocks the Perry Park Center Theatre with a Jan. 15 concert to aid St. Mary tornado victims.

On Oct. 24, a Tornado ripped through St. Mary and Coffman. Luckily no loss of life occurred, but still many residents lost their homes, others their livelihood. All proceeds from this event will go to help those affected, and their recovery costs. Local establishment City Tavern has sponsored a cash bar for the evening of the show. Extra donations can be made at the door, day of show.

“This is going to be a great evening,” said Chad Cooper of EXP Productions. “We have a wide variety of music planned for the night. The show will start with a showcase of local talented musicians and songwriters from the region.”

There are also three groups set to preform, Bill Tweedy Band, Deuce Denninger Band, and the Burnt Mill Boys.

“We’re really hoping for a great show, we want to see everyone come out and show support for a great cause” EXP President, Bill Tweedy said. “We are working with the City of St. Mary to ensure the funds reach the people that need it.”

Tickets can be purchased at the door or by ordering online through eventbrite.com. Search  for “Exp Productions St. Mary Tornado Relief Concert.”
