The 2021 Turkey Run will take place in the Valle Desert on Thanksgiving morning.
This five-kilometer run/walk will begin at 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving, Nov. 25.
All proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The entry fee is $20, or $25 after Thursday, Nov. 11. Only cash or checks will be accepted for payment.
Sign up by Nov. 12 to guarantee a T-shirt.
Registrations can be dropped off at the Ste. Genevieve County Community Center on State Highway 32.
Also, look for forms with a QR code to send your registration through that method.
All participants will receive a finisher’s medal.
This event will be timed by Cape Road Runners of Cape Girardeau.

Racing Banquet Postponed
The Ste. Genevieve County Racing Series end-of-season banquet has been postponed.
The United Steelworkers Union Hall was double-booked on Sunday, Dec. 5, forcing the racing series to look for another date and a different facility.
The Ste. Genevieve Herald will have an update on the time and location of the banquet in the Dec. 1 edition.
The Ste. Genevieve County Racing Series will have an entry in the Holiday Christmas Festival parade set for 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4.
The Herald will run season points soon.
