Valle Catholic High School Class of 1996 graduate Jessie Haug Meyer spoke to students as part of the “Warriors At Work” program.
Meyer is the owner of Prism Hair Salon in Ste. Genevieve, and a licensed cosmetologist.
She spoke to the students about the day in the life of a beautician, and what it’s like to own a business.
Meyer discussed forming relationships with clients, and expressed the need to have a strong work ethic.
Speakers visit the campus twice each month, and share information on a wide variety of professions — including creative, medical, technical, scientific, religious, culinary, legal and more.
This program is available to all high school students at Valle Catholic.
Upcoming speakers include alumni from the United States Air Force, a certified public accountant and a financial advisor.
