Genevieve, MO; Grandfather, Ralph “Pete” Carron of Ste. Genevieve, MO; Several Aunt, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

He was preceded in death by Father, Gregory D. Nickelson; Grandfather, Billie Ray Nickelson; Grandparents, Leon & Anna Jacob; Aunt, Cindy Nickelson; Uncle/Godfather Russell Nickelson; Uncle, Mark Radford; Uncle, Kirk Klein.

Visitation was at Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, MO on Monday, November 15, 2021 and Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

Service was at Basler Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 10:00 am. The Clergy was Msgr. Jeffrey Knight.

He was a member of Weingarten Volunteer Fire Department for 8 years, Knights of Columbus 1037 Ste. Genevieve & Weingarten Jaycees. He was a welder for Roeslein Manufacturing in Red Bud, IL. He followed in his fathers footsteps and worked on cars in his spare time. Billie enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing & camping with family and friends. He had a passion for dirt racing, helping with various pit crews. Billie truly enjoyed helping with the Weingarten Volunteer Fire Department, responding to as many calls as he could to help others. Billie lived life to fullest, he loved to spend time with family and friends and he will be missed by all who knew him.
