The city of Ste. Genevieve will be celebrating Halloween on Sunday, Oct. 31.
Ste. Genevieve city hall reports the trick-or-treating time will be between 6-8:30 p.m. that night.
“Trick or treat” participants must be 16 years of age, or younger. Youth ages 14 and younger must be accompanied by an adult at least 21 years old.
An outdoor light must be on to invite trick or treaters. If the light is not on then that residence is not participating, and should not be approached.
Those handing out candy must follow current health guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus).
Exercise social distancing, consider wearing a face covering and wash or sterilize hands often.
