The “Movie In The Park” Series will wrap up on Oct. 30 with “Hocus Pocus” at Pere Marquette Park.

But, that’s just part of the fun during this Halloween-themed extravaganza.

The event is free of charge.

Activities will begin at 4 p.m.

“Hocus Pocus” is a 1993 film starring Omri Katz, Thora Birch, Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy and Vinessa Shaw.

The film centers around teenager Max Dennison (Katz), who explores an abandoned house in Salem, Mass., with his sister Dani (Birch) and friend (Shaw).

Max accidentally frees a coven of evil witches (Parker, Midler and Najimy) who used to live in the house.

The kids must steal the witches’ book of spells to stop the witches from becoming immortal.

There will be pumpkin and rock painting, and other Halloween-themed games. Children, and adults, are encouraged to wear costumes.
