James Edward Bieser,Sr.

James “Jim” E. Bieser, of Farmington, passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family on August 28, 2021, at the age of 75.  He was born June 30, 1946, in New Offenberg, Missouri to the late August F. Bieser and Estella (Walls) Bieser.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth May (Korn) Bieser in 2018; a brother, Clarence Bieser and a grandson, Tyler Bieser.

Jim went to work farming at a very young age, planting fields and fertilizing. Soon, in addition to farming, he learned the trade of welding.  He then worked in the mining industry as a welder.  Having horses as well as coon and squirrel hunting with his hunting dogs, were some of his favorite pastimes.  He was also known far and wide for his gunsmithing talents.

An avid outdoorsman, Jim loved living the country life.  He will be remembered for his honesty, integrity and as a devoted and loving family man.

Survivors include his children, Donna Sue Bieser, James (Jennifer) Bieser, Jr., Dale (Surita) Bieser and Wayne (Lisa) Bieser; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Norman (Betty) Bieser and Ronnie Bieser; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 4, at 11:30 a.m. at Charter Church Cemetery in Jefferson County, Missouri with Pastor Clifton Coulter officiating.  Due to the Covid19 pandemic everyone in attendance will be required to wear face masks.  Share your condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
