He was born April 12, 1959 in Perryville, MO and was married to Mary (Fischer) Stuppy on July 18, 1980.
He is survived by Wife, Mary (Fischer) Stuppy of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Two Daughters, Claudia Stuppy (Aaron Schemel) of Sainte Genevieve, MO, Shelly (Alan) Mueller of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Four Brothers, Jerry (Sandra) Stuppy of Fredericktown, MO, Donald (Brenda) Stuppy of Sainte Genevieve, MO, Scott (Karen) Stuppy of Sainte Genevieve, MO, Dennis “Monk” (Mary Kay) Kreitler of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Sister, Debbie (Kenny) Roth of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Brother-in-law, Allen Parmer of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Sister-in-law, Susan Stuppy of Bloomsdale, MO; Grandson, Kaiden Mueller of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Granddaughter, Lexi Mueller of Sainte Genevieve, MO
He was preceded in death by Two Brothers, Ronald Stuppy, Thomas Stuppy; Sister, Susie Parmer; Father, Edward R. Stuppy; Mother, Minerva M. (Kreitler) Stuppy.
Visitation will be at Church of Ste. Genevieve in Sainte Genevieve, MO on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 9:30 am till 1:00 pm
Service will be at Church of Ste. Genevieve on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 1:00 pm.
The Clergy will be Rev. Henry Purcell.
Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, MO.

He was the owner/operator of Stuppy Wrecker Service and Auto Sales, a board member of Heavenly Hope, member of The MASTERS, The Backstoppers, Alderman of Ste. Genevieve 2009-2016, former Jour de Fete board and committee member, former Channel 98 board, Knights of Columbus 1037, Classic Car Cruise Club, 2018 Grand Marshall of Holiday Christmas Parade & Ste. Gen. County Fair Parade. John loved his wife, kids and grandkids, they were his pride and joy. Cars and towing and helping others were his passion. John started the Veterans Day Meal at Cafe Genevieve, he had a big heart, loved the Ste. Genevieve Community, always giving back.
