Dorothy M. Huber, 87 years old, of Sainte Genevieve, MO, died Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in Sainte Genevieve, MO.
She was born January 1, 1934 in Brewer, MO and was married to Lester Huber on April 18, 1953.
She is survived by Two Sons, John (Debby) Huber of Sainte Genevieve, MO and Steve (Debbie) Huber of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Three Daughters, Linda Bruce of Colorado Springs, CO, Theresa Shaner of Fort Collins, CO, and Alaina (Keith) Kraenzle of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Two Sisters, Mary June Sifrig, and Carol Hogard; Three Brothers, Leo Hogard, Larry Hogard, and Richard Hogard. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Husband, Lester Joseph Huber; Father, Paul Hogard; Mother, Wilena (Elder) Hogard; Brother, David Hogard; Two Son-in-laws, E.J. Bruce and Dr. David Shaner
Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, MO on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm and Monday, July 12, 2021 from 9:00 am till 10:45 am.
Service will be at Church of Ste. Genevieve on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 11:00 am. The Clergy will be Rev. Edward Nemeth.
Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks at a later date.

She was a member of Ste. Genevieve Quilters Guild. Dorothy was best known for her quilt making. She had a shop in Ste. Genevieve and taught many classes on quilting and piecing quilt tops. Many of the quilters would ask Dorothy to help them pick fabrics for their quilts (because she had a really great eye for putting colors together). Dorothy loved her flowers in her garden and loved spending time with her family.
