Big Love Is Next In Summer Music Series

From Staff Reports

The pounding beat of Blue Martin ushered in the 13th Annual Ste. Genevieve Chamber of Commerce Summer Music Series at the renovated Orris Theatre last Friday night.

This Friday, more retro rock will be on hand, as Big Love, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, will take the Orris stage forthe second straight year. Formed early in 2014, Big Love covers all of Fleetwood Mac’s hits over the years and with varied personnel groups. Fleetwood Mac was formed in London in 1967 and went through considerable personnel changes over the years. From the late 1970s to the late 1980s, rock star Stevie Nicks and guitarist Lindsey  Buckingham were part of the group.

Some of their hits included “Dreams,” “Rhiannon,” “Sara,” and the song that inspired the name of the tribute band, “Big Love.”

The Herald will again raffle off two tickets to each event.
