KANSAS CITY — The Ste. Genevieve Youth Wrestling Club capped its season in fine fashion at the 2021 USA Wrestling State Meet in mid-March.
Lexi Wolk was a girls’ state champion in the 10-under 80-85 pound weight division in the meet, which took place at HyVee Arena.
Both Mason Langeneckert and Nolan Rayoum earned second-place finishes in their respective weight categories — with Keely Fallert picking up a bronze medal for third place.
Both Emmett and Madden Wolk earned fifth-place finishes, with Madden Wolk in the 12-under, 150-pound bracket and Emmett Wolk 8-under 100-pound bracket.
Drake Meyer and Hailey Davis also made the podium with a pair of sixth-place finishes.
Evan Winters earned a top-12 placement, and Liam Venz and Collin Schweiss top-16 at this competitive tournament.
This marked the final event of the season for the club.
