Darlene Wilma Lee Munroe

Darlene Munroe, of Farmington, Missouri, died January 20, 2021 at the age of 82, at Mercy Jefferson, Festus, Missouri. She was born in Greenbrier, MO the daughter of Onest (Edna) Storz, October 29, 1938. Darlene is survived by her son Edward G. (Theresa) Munroe of St. Mary, MO and her daughter Dr. Victoria (Dr. Dwayne) Damba of Farmington, MO. She is also survived by grandchildren Joshua (Tiffany) Munroe of Jackson,MO, Julie (Dennis) Brown of St. Louis, MO, Jamie Gray of Jacksonville, FL, Jason (Ashley) Gray of Jacksonville, FL , Emily (Brent) Cunningham of Farmington, MO, great-grandchildren Isabella Munroe, Emmalee Munroe, Shyanne Munroe, Ryan Munroe and Ashlyn Brown.

She was married to Edward R. Munroe, November 30, 1955. They were married 50 years before he preceded her in death December 8, 2005.

She is also survived by her brothers Ivan (Darlene) Storz of Pevely , MO and Daniel (Rose) Storz of West Plains, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters and their husbands, Ella Jane (Richard) Conway and Doris (Kenny) Phelan.

Darlene enjoyed spending time with family, watching movies and game shows. She liked to cook special treats for her family including chocolate chip cookies and deviled eggs for holidays. She would visit her hair dresser every 2 weeks without fail. She would faithfully attend St. Joseph Catholic Church as often as possible.

She enjoyed an active and happy life up until shortly before her death. There are no words to describe how much she will be missed by her loving family and friends. Her generous heart and never ending smile will always be remembered by those who knew her.

Visitation was held Saturday January 23, 2021 from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Mo. a funeral service washeld at 1:00 pm at the chapel. Burial followed at Balch Cemetery near Zalma, Mo
