Jamie Rue Roth

Janie Rue Roth passes away on January 12, 2021 at the age of 83. She was the beloved wife of Charles L. Roth of Defiance, Missouri for 65 years. She is survived by her two sons, Gregory Roth of Lake St. Louis, MO, Christopher ( Julie) of O’Fallon, MO; three daughters, Kelly Roth of O’Fallon, MO, Barbara ( Richard) Roth-Sondermann of St. Louis, MO, Stephanie ( Guy) Baryo of Auburn,WA; two brothers, Ronald Evans of Germany, Donald Evans of Oklahoma City, OK; two sisters, Jereada Bowers of Temple, OK and JoAnn Meyers of Oklahoma; five granddaughters, Teresa Keune, Katherine Sondermann, Charlotte Baryo, Allison Roth, Mackenzie Roth; two grandsons, Nicholas Sondermann, Aidan Baryo; two great granddaughters, Cora Keune, Maggie Keune; two fur babies, Sweet Pea , Jingle Bells. She is preceded in death by her father, Albert Oran Evans, mother, Johnnie Viola Coe, sister Janell Thomasson, sister Jehrie Sue Hurst.

Janie was a retired medical professional. She worked at Delmar Gardens West, Jewish Center for the Aged, and St. John’s Mercy Hospital. Janie was an avid quilter and gardener.She enjoyed a variety of needle work and crocheting. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A service lead by Rev. Tom Miller, was held at Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville, MO on January 15, 2021. Burial was at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, New Melle, MO. Due to the pandemic,a larger celebration will be held a a later date.
