Racing Series To Begin On March 28

The Ste. Genevieve County Racing Series has announced the first day of the 2021 season with be on Sunday, March 28.
The action will begin at 2 p.m. at the Ste. Genevieve County Fairgrounds.
March 28 will be a play date only, with the first counted races set for 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 10.
The Ste. Genevieve County Fair Race, always the most popular date of the season, will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 8.
Pit gates will open at 4 p.m., with grandstands at 5 p.m. and hot laps starting at 5:30 p.m. The pit fee is $15, with a $20 race fee. Admission is $10 for the grandstands, $5 for children ages five to 11 and children four years old and younger are admitted free.
For the play date, pits will open at 10 a.m., with the grandstands at noon, and hot laps at 12:30 p.m. Heats will begin at 1:30 p.m.
This year’s card features a mix of Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon race cards.
The final points race will be on Oct. 9, with the last racing date set for Oct. 23.
