Delbert Fahnestock
Delbert Fahnestock of New Offenburg died Friday, November 13, 2020 at his home in New Offenburg. He was 90 years old.
He was born February 25, 1930, in Ste. Genevieve.
Married to Mavis (Grogan) Fahnestock on May 29, 1954 and she swurvives him at home.
He is also survived by daughter, Dena (Mike) Branstetter of Ste.Genevieve; granddaughter, Kayla Dawn Edgar of Ste. Genevieve; great-granddaughter, Dylan Maeve Edgar of Ste. Genevieve.
Del also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, George W. Fahnestock; his mother, Lucy M. (Govro) Fahnestock Pruett; step-father, Charles Pruett; two sisters, Ethel Fahnestock and Laverne T. Kiefer; Three Brothers, Douglas Fahnestock, Clifford Fahnestock, and Harold Fahnestock; five step-sisters, Annie Carter, Minerva Wilson, Dovie Rice, Maxine Fahnestock, and Wanda Todd; step-brother, Eugene Pruett;
Service was at Basler Funeral Home on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 9:30 a.m.
The Clergy was Rev. Clyde Berry.
Burial will be at Genevieve Baptist Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve.

He was a member and trustee of New Offenburg First Baptist Church.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Del enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
