Both requests for special use permits were approved by the Ste. Genevieve Planning and Zoning Commission during the group’s meeting last Thursday.
First, the commission unanimously voted to grant Rodney Milfelt of Milfelt Auto Body LLC requests a variance and special use permit to erect a 24 by 12-foot freestanding sign in an R-1 Single Family Residential District at 17746 US Highway 61.
Next Ste. Genevieve Properties LLC and Hunter Lee Holdings LLC requested a special use permit to replace a previously non-conforming mobile home with a newer model mobile home in a R-2 General Residential District on lot No. 4 at 205 South 10th Street.
This request generated considerable discussion. It finally passed 5-1, with Gina Bryant voting against it.
