Jeffrey P. Gurley

Jeffrey P. Gurley of Ste. Genevieve died Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Ste. Genecieve County Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 20, 1955 in Alton, Illinois.

He was married to Rosemary (Porter) Gurley on August 18, 1979 and she survives him in Ste. Genevieve.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Jessica (Ashton) James of Marble Hill, Missouri, Stephanie Gurley of Ballwin, Missouri; sisters, Paula (Wayne) Husemann of Red Bud, Illinois, Amy (Ron) Sommer of St. Libory, Illinois; granddaughters, Avery James of Marble Hill and Peyton James of Marble Hill.

He was preceded in death  by his father, Paul E. Gurley, his mother, Betty J. (Rees) Gurley, and brother, Matt Gurley.

Service was at Basler Funeral Home on Monday, September 28, 2020 at noon.

Burial was at Valle Spring Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve.

He was a retired firefighter with the Ste. Genevieve Fire Department.
