St. Agnes Staff Ready For School

Saint Agnes Catholic School began its 2020-21 school year on Wednesday, Aug. 19.

Because of concerns regarding the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, a detailed reopening plan is in place to ensure the safety of students and teachers as they return to face-to-face learning.

Small class sizes will allow for effective social distancing, and some facilities have been upgraded to ensure safety, St. Agnes reported in a press release.

The faculty members at St. Agnes have been set for this year.

Benefit sand v-ball

There will be a sand volleyball tournament from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 12 at the Midway Bar & Grill in Weingarten.

Proceeds will benefit Ste. Genevieve High School’s Project Graduation 2021.

A 50-50 raffle will be drawn, and a silent auction will be conducted from 3-9 p.m.
