John J. Viox

John J. Viox of Cape Girardeau, (formerly of Ste. Genevieve), died Friday, August 14, 2020, at Culpepper Place in Olive Branch, Mississippi.

He was born July 30, 1946 in Ste. Genevieve.

He is survived by son Sean (Monica) Viox, of Byhalia, Mississippi, son Dale (Dana) Viox, of Arlington, Tennessee, daughter Melissa Viox, of Williston, North Dakota, daughter Andrea (Billy) Field, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, brother Larry (Debbie) Viox, of Ste. Genevieve, sister Elaine Roth, of Ste. Genevieve, brother Earl (Suzette) Viox, of Ste. Genevieve, brother Leo (Glenda) Viox, of Bloomsdale, sister Mary Huey, of St. Louis, and grandchildren Jackson Viox and Grace Field.

He was preceded in death by his father, John A. Viox, and his mother, Evelyn L. (Gegg) Viox.

Visitation will be at Church of Ste. Genevieve on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m.

Service will be at Church of Ste. Genevieve on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 11 a.m. The Clergy will be  Rev. Edward Nemeth.

Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve.

John enjoyed coffee, a cold beer, corvettes and car shows.  Most important he loved his family and his church.
