Karen S. McBride

Karen S. McBride, of Ste. Genevieve, died Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at home in Ste. Genevieve, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 62 years old.

She was born May 8, 1958 in Perryville, Missouri. She was married to Mark McBride on June 17, 1977 and he survives her in Ste. Genevieve.

She is also survived by daughters Jennifer (Troy) Hobbs and Jessica (Tyler) Basler, by her father, Roseman P. Tucker,  and by a sister, Janis (Eugene) Grein, and a brother, Gregory (Anita) Tucker, all of Ste. Genevieve; and by grandchildren Brayden, Camryn, Chase, and Olivia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rita (Kist) Tucker, brother, Kenneth Tucker.

Visitation will be at Church of Ste. Genevieve on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 9:00 am till 11 a.m.

Service will be at Church of Ste. Genevieve on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 11 a.m. The Clergy will be Rev. Edward Nemeth.

Graveside service will be private.

Karen served in the nursing profession for over 40 years. She loved caring for others and adored her patients. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and camping at the farm her and Mark purchased. She was a loving wife, mother, maw maw, and sister who loved spending time with them every chance she had. Her laugh was infectious and she will be missed by all.
