Beverly Sue Ruff, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, August 8, 2020 at the home of her daughter in St. Mary.
She was born July 29, 1948 in St. Charles, Missouri to Lawrence Edward and Zelma Mae Lockheart Pettig.
She and Greg Ruff were married May 30, 1992 at Bloomfield, Missouri and he survives her in Cape Girardeau.
She was formerly a member of Word of Faith Christian Center in Bernie, Missouri.
She loved to spoil her grandkids. She loved her family and was always thinking of them. She also had a passion toward charities in need.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her son, Reo (Kathleen Windeknecht) Smith of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Tamara Loveland of New Haven, Missouri and Candance (Chris) Spraul of Saint Mary, Missouri; brother, Jerry Pettig of Troy, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, Eric Wheeling, Christian Gibbs, Chyann Gibbs, Destiny Earnhardt, Ethan Hagler, Hayden Hale, Jaxstyn Hale, Becca Ruff, Terry Ruff, Kaylee Wheeling and Jacob Wheeling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Lawrence Edward, Carl, John and Douglas Pettig; and one sister, Gloria Heidbrink; and son-in-law, Scott Deutschmann.
Friends may call noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
