Big Love, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, will be the next to last group to perform in the Ste Genevieve Chamber of Commerce Summer Concert Series.
The band will hit the stage at 8 p.m, Friday at the Orris. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20.
“The group’s presentation of Fleetwood Mac has been met with so much enthusiasm that at this point, they’re just trying to keep up with the demand,” according to the group’s website.
Fleetwood Mac was formed in London in 1967 and went through considerable personnel changes over the years. From the late 1970s to the late 1980s, rock star Stevie Nicks and guitarist Lindsey Buckingham were part of the group.
Some of their hits included Dreams, Rhiannon, Don’t Stop, Sara and Say You Love Me and the song that inspired the name of the tribute band, Big Love.
Formed early in 2014, Big Love covers all of Fleetwood Mac’s hits, over the years and with varied personnel groups.
