Dennis B. Herzog

Dennis B. Herzog of Coffman died Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at his home. He was 70 years old.
He was born June 11, 1950 in Coffman. He was married to Agnes (Schilli) Herzog on February 14, 1976 and she survives him in Coffman.
He is also survived by a daughter, Melissa Herzog, of Columbia, Missouri, a son, Eric Herzog and his wife Mandi of Farmington, as well as two sisters, Betty Wolk and her husband Raymond of Farmington, and Norma Womack and her husband Stephen, of Irvine, California, and a sister-in-law, Gail Herzog, of East Alton, Illinois.
He is also survived by grandchildren Luci, Bucklei and Harris Herzog
He was preceded in death by his father, Barney Herzog, his mother, Lucille (Hoog) Herzog, a brother, Ronald Herzog and a nephew, Scott Herzog.
Funeral services were Saturday June 20 at St. Catherine’s of Alexandria in Coffman. Rev. William Thess officiated. Burial was at St. Catherine’s of Alexandria in Coffman. Military graveside service was performed by VFW Post 2210. Basler Funeral Home of Ste. Genevieve handled the arrangements.
He was a member of American Legion Post 150, NRA, St. Catherine Catholic Church and was a proud Vietnam War Veteran. He was an avid reader, and loved everything outdoors, farming, hunting, camping, canoeing and flower gardening. He loved teaching his children and grandchildren about the outdoors.
