Kenneth ‘Kenny’ E. Figge

Kenneth “Kenny” E. Figge, age 76, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away June 7, 2020, at his home in Camdenton.
Kenny was born September 15, 1943 in Ste. Genevieve to Gilbert and Edna Figge.
Kenny was united in marriage to Loretta Kreitler on October 29, 1966, in Ozora, Missouri. They shared 53 years together at the time of his passing.
Kenny loved Our Lord and lived a Christian life. His best advice, in time of struggle, was to live “One day at a time.” He was devoted to his wife children and grandchildren. He loved people and was a caring, kind and generous person and always smiling.
Kenny found his life-long work in carpentry very fulfilling and rewarding. He was an active volunteer and helped anyone he could. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Ste. Genevieve; St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Camdenton, Missouri; United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America; Ste. Genevieve Knights of Columbus; American Legion and the American Legion Riders of Ste. Genevieve; Cedar Glen Condominium Homeowners Association Board of Directors, Building Committee and Gardening Committee; and Red Cross Blood donor.
Kenny is survived by his dear wife Loretta (Kreitler) Figge of Camdenton, Missouri; daughter Cheryl Taylor and husband Jason of Nashville, Illinois; son Chris Figge and wife Christine of Peculiar, Missouri; four grandchildren, Joshua Figge, Caitlin Figge, Ty Figge, and Miles Taylor; siblings Kathy Lewandowski of Ste. Genevieve, David Figge and wife Sharon of Bloomsdale, Theresa (Tex) Gegg and husband Mike of Ste. Genevieve, Sharon Werner and husband Dennis of Ste. Genevieve, Denise Figge and special friend Dean Malacarne of Ste. Genevieve, and Kevin Figge and special friend Mary Bauman of Ste. Genevieve; uncle Fr. Urban Figge, Our Lady of Snows, of Belleville, Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kenny was Godfather to his sister Denise Figge and nephews Jeff Figge and Jason Emerson.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Edna Figge, brother Francis Figge, sister-in-law Debbie Figge, and brother-in-law Ed Lewandowski.
Funeral services are pending at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Ste. Genevieve.
