William J. Fleeman

William J. Fleeman of Festus died on Friday, June 5, 2020, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus. He was 74 years old.
He was born July 15, 1945. in St. Louis, a son of Elzie Fleeman and Rosie (Hadlock) Fleeman.
He was married to Mary Ann Fleeman on March 4, 1966, and she survives in Festus.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Jeff Fleeman and his wife Lisa of Bloomsdale; two daughters, Melinda Dallas and her husband Troy of Festus, Rosie Fleeman of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Katie; and four grandchildren, Jacob, Megan, Logan, and Blake.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nine siblings, Shirley, Paul William, Elzie, Roy, Bobby, Johnny, Rosie, Delores, and Richard.
He was a Vietnam Marine Corps veteran, a member of American Legion Post 150, and an active member of Lebanon Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family and his four-legged friend George. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle.
Funeral services were Monday, June 8, at Lebanon Baptist Church. Rev. Brandon Dunman and Jeff Fleeman officiated. Burial was at Concord Cemetery in Bloomsdale. Military honors were provided by VFW Post 2210. Basler Funeral Home of Ste. Genevieve handled the arrangements.
