Gerald Wayne Williams

Gerald Wayne Williams of Ste. Genevieve, died on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at his home. He was 77 years old.
He was born September 9, 1942, in Paragould, Arkansas, a son of  the late Gerald D. Williams and Joy Proffitt.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Iva (Wells) Williams; two daughters, Kanoi Moorhead and her husband David of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Nikki Geiler and her husband Jr. of Ste. Genevieve; four grandchildren, Kyla and her husband Robert, Jamie and his wife Rachel, Jalyne and her husband Cody, Derek and his wife Zena; four great-grandchildren, Kylynn, Alexander, Jonah, Jameson; one sister, Bonnie Graham and her husband David of Marietta, California; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He was a pipe fitter and member of United Association of Plumbers, Steamfitters, and HVAC Service Technicians Local 230 of San Diego.
He was an ordinary extraordinary human being who was loved by everyone. He was an outstanding griller who enjoyed fishing, nature, birds but most of all spending time with his family. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A private celebration will take place on Saturday, June 13. Cozean Memorial Chapel and Crematory in Farmington is handling the arrangements.
