Dorma L. Okenfuss

Dorma L. Okenfuss of Ste. Genevieve died on Friday, June 5, 2020, at Ste. Genevieve Care Center. She was 91 years old.
She was born March 19, 1929 in Ste. Genevieve, a daughter of Wilbert “Pat” L. Wilson and Magdelena G. (Meyer) Wilson.
She was married to Carl W. Okenfuss on August 23, 1947, and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Carl J. Okenfuss and his wife Mary of Ste. Geneveive, Dale Okenfuss of Houston, Texas; three daughters, Mary Wehmeyer and her husband Robert of Ste. Genevieve, Leeann Okenfuss of Ste. Genevieve, Susan Okenfuss of Baltimore, Maryland; 10 grandchildren; and five great-granchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Paula Ann Klein and her husband Herb; one brother, Don Wilson; and four sisters, Olive Scherer, Pat Bierschwal, Mary Childers, Rose Lee Keller.
She was a parishioner of the Church of Ste. Genevieve and a member of The Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, the Golden Age Club, and America Corp.
A memorial Mass will take place at a later time. Basler Funeral Home of Ste. Genevieve is handling the arrangements.
